Reverend Ronnie McGirt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Barber-Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. He is pursuing a doctorate in Theology and Divinity at the Fountain of Living Waters Bible College. He has been preaching for eighteen years under the leadership of Bishop David Patterson, Jr and Rev. Elizabeth A. Patterson at the Southern Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Maxton, North Carolina.
Reverend McGirt is a gifted singer who started singing at the age of seven. He had the honor of singing and traveling with several gospel artists such as John P. Kee, Shirley Caesar, Aris Smith & Made Men, Donnie McClurkin, Elder Brian Pierce, Gospel Four, and many others. God called from singing on the road to preaching the Gospel.
Reverend McGirt is honored to serve the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He serves with his wife Lady Sheena McGirt. They have been married for eleven years and God has blessed them with eight children.
